Valuation Report on a property is usually arranged by a Bank, Building Society or a Bridging loan company. The aim of the report is to inform the lender of the value of the property and to ensure the mortgage is appropriate for the value of the property.
A Valuation Report is not as comprehensive as a Homebuyer Survey & Valuation or a full Building Survey.
Commercial Valuation
Local Surveyors UK Chartered Surveyors undertake commercial surveys and
valuations for a variety of Banks and other Lending Institutions as well as Private Clients for purchase purposes, additional lending and for other uses as requested.
The inspection, report and valuation is in accordance with the current
practice statements, guidance notes and appendices of the latest edition of the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Standards Red Book.
The report usually comprises Market Value, brief description of the premises along with the condition and any urgent repairs necessary.
